Ingredients


2 medium onions
1 cup of water
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 cup of pork fat or lard
3 eggs
200 grams of cream cheese
> 3/4 cup of milk and 2 cups of corn flour

Preparation


Boil the diced onion, water and salt in a saucepan covered for 5 minutes.
Let it cool.
Beat the fat until it is white and frothy.
Add one by one the eggs, the cream cheese and continue beating continuously.
Add the onions and the water of these, the corn flour and the milk.
Mix everything very well until obtaining a homogeneous mixture.
Place in a Pirex greased and floured. Cook in a slightly hot oven for one hour.
Note:
Chipa-guasu (chipagrande) is prepared as the Paraguayan soup but using fresh corn (corn) instead of flour of corn, it can also be done without eggs, in which case more milk is added.
